Music with a sense of place.

Gendhing is a music organizer and creative collective built around people who share a passion for music, collaboration, cultural experience and meaningful places. We create performances and events that connect contemporary sound with the character of Indonesia.

Who We Are

Gendhing brings people together around music.

Our work can take many forms: intimate concerts, collaborations between artists, destination music experiences, cultural programs and creative event production. The common thread is a careful balance between artistic expression, audience experience and the identity of the place.

Curate

We connect artists, musical ideas and locations to shape programs with a clear artistic character.

Produce

We develop the practical side of an event — audience journey, program flow, venue atmosphere and event coordination.

Connect

We create opportunities for musicians, communities, visitors and local partners to meet through music.

“We believe a music event can be more than a stage. It can become a meeting point between sound, landscape, people and memory.”
